Volunteer for Thundridge Neighbourhood Plan Advisory Committee

There are a number of ways you can contribute to our Neighbourhood Plan ranging from dipping in occasionally, offering opinion at one of the consultation events, to playing a central role with the Advisory Committee or one of the Topic Groups.

Opportunities within the Advisory Committee Fancy getting involved in leading the process - arranging events, writing the plan, and helping to manage the project? Then the Advisory Committee may be for you. Have a look at our Advisory Committee page and see if this is of interest to you.

If you would like to get involved you can complete an application form, which you can Download here and return to emma@emmaherring.com We ask that prospective members attend to observe an Advisory Committee meeting, to make sure that they understand what is involved and that they do actually wish to join, before then applying formally at the following meeting.

Research opportunities The Advisory Committee is looking for people to get involved in researching specific areas of interest in our Topic Groups. Topic Group leaders form a central core of the group and will be arranging specific targeted consultation, and we also hope to build up a wider network of volunteer researchers for intermittent discussions and assistance on specific topics. If you are interested in contributing to research, but do not want to commit to joining the Advisory Committee then there are opportunities for you to get involved with our research on a project basis.

For more information on the Topic Groups visit the Advisory Committee page

If you are interested in research opportunities, email us at clerk@thundridgeparishcouncil.org.uk and the relevant topic group leader will get in touch with you. Alternatively, come along to an Advisory Committee meeting.
